"TGinny 2 Visits Connecticut"
September 2nd to 15th




September 10, 2001

Hi everyone! I'm Traveling Ginny 2 and I'm visiting with Linda K. (and Gil) in Connecticut. We flew on an airplane to Providence, RI and Gil drove us home to Oakdale, CT. It was a long drive and we were very tired. We went straight to bed and rested. The next day Linda and Ginny LilBit gave me some clothes of my own. I think she called it the September outfit. It looks great with my "beautiful" red hair.

After I was presentable, I met with the Ginny family at Linda's house.

Ginny Carmel is showing me how to use the vacuum. She says part of her chores are cleaning the floors.

Linda had to take her car to someplace called The Emissions Center and have it checked. She said it had to do with how yucky stuff comes out of the car when you are driving. She was getting her embroidery together to work on while she waited. She said I could go to, so I took some embroidery to work on too.

We had to wait in line even though there was an empty stall. I wonder why? Sure glad we took some hand work to keep us busy.

The fire station has a Big Dog! His name is Sparky and has spots. (hehehe) He isn't real though. He's a great big rock. Ginny LilBit and I almost got lost in the picture because Sparky is so big. He's cool. Ginny LilBit wishes she had him in the back yard.

Here's a better picture. Sure glad Gil came along to help out. We were hoping to see the fire trucks, but the station was all closed up. Gil says they have volunteers so sometimes no one is there.
