Traveling Ginny2 arrives in California at Cherie Kaiser's house.

I'm heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!!!

What a trip! But I got here (San Marcos) safe and sound and TIRED. Wow! I could hardly blink the bright lights away before CG and her friends were right there to help me out of my travel box. They even had a robe and slippers waiting for me--it was bedtime when I got sprung. It gets SO embarassing showing up at a brand-new place in just my undies (Mrs. K called them scivvies?), but CG said not to worry--with the crew at this place, we'd have no problem finding something for me to wear


Jill let us play for a while. CG has the cutest doll house. If my new Mom is out there--Polly Pockets (the older ones) are just perfect for us Ginnys!

We could hardly keep our eyes open while Jill read us a story. More tomorrow zzzzzzzzzzzzz

We're going to Mrs. K's Mom's house today to take her and her sister out to lunch. But I just had to let you see Sampson. He's BIG. He kind of looks mean in the picture, but he's a big softie! He kept wanting to sniff my hair--I wonder why? I'll send pictures of the lunch when we get back. TG2

Well, I found out why Mrs. K took her Mom and Aunt out to lunch--they're celebrating their birthdays--92!! They're twins! Can ya tell?? They like Ginnys too. Mrs. K's Mom said she bought 11 of us in the '50s and saved them for Mrs. K until she quit climbing trees (?).

We went to this kinda snazzy place called The Olive Garden. Don't know why they call it that--I only saw one olive, and that was on Mrs. K's salad. Anyway, I got to have my very first steak (yummm)...

and, of course, cake and ice cream (YUMM). I'm off to bed YAWN we have to get up early tomorrow & go to church! TG2
