Meet Phillip, Dorothy, Punkie and Allisa Park and Marjorie. She's a foster child who has come to live with the family. As time goes on, you'll meet other foster children as Phillip and Dot hope to open their home to many more.

[image] Phillip Park is 38 and is an Executive in a major insurance company. He works long hours, has a long commute and sometimes travels to regional offices to check up on how things are being run. He's well respected and liked by his co-workers and by his own community. Phillip met Dot after high school and married her before he graduated from college. He can't imagine living without her. He enjoys his family of females, but does feel outnumbered at times. Family and children are important to him and that is one of the reasons he and Dot have opened their home up to foster care. They want to share what they have with children who are without parents.

[image] Dorothy "Dot" Park is 36 and is a stay-at-home mother of two daughters. Over the years she has enjoyed doing many different crafts, but she loves knitting and decorating her home. She likes to read and really loves to watch movies. Dot is a happy person. She's a good listener and people tend to come to her when they need someone to share their troubles. She's caring. Her family and friends are the most important part of her life. She will always be there for them.

[image] Punkie is a typical 14 year old girl. She enjoys movies; especially those with Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean. She likes boys and can't wait to start dating (if her dad will ever break his hard fast rule of 16) and, of course, loves to shop for clothes! She thinks school is "COOL", gets good grades and wants to become a Pediatric Doctor. She loves little kids.

[image] Allisa is a cute 4 year old. She adores her big sister and wants to be with her all the time. Would prefer to eat peanut butter/jelly sandwiches and cupcakes all the time. She likes to watch Lord of the Ring because she thinks Pippin is funny!

[image] Marjorie Little is in the system....a foster child. Her father was never in the picture and no one knows who he is. Her mother died when she was 7. No relatives could be found, so she was put into foster care. The Parks are her 2nd home and they have taken her in as one of their own. She's been with them about six months and is trying very hard to feel "safe and at home". She's warming up to them, but still a little cautious. They have assured her that they want her to stay with them till she's an adult. She's a sweet girl and shy. She loves to play with Allisa. She dreams of being Punkie's sister for real and her best friend.
