Esther: Oh, Thank You! I’m sure you are used to seeing excited people in here, but this has been a dream for so long!

Agent: (smiling) Just remember, it takes time. Nothing gets done quickly in this process. We want to make sure we match the right children to the right parents.

Esther: Oh yes. That’s very important.

Evan: We realize it will take time. Esther has a tendency to get excited, but she has patience.

Agent: It’s been very nice meeting you and I hope we can find that perfect child for your home. No need to make an appointment when you have the papers ready, just drop them by.

Evan: Thank you, we will. Bye.

Back at home, Evan and Esther sit down and go through the folder of papers.

Evan: There’s sure a lot of questions. I guess it’s necessary though, they have to know the people are the right kind of people before putting children in their care.

Esther: Yes, they have to be very careful when it comes to the safety of the children.. This won’t take long. Paperwork is my specialty at the office.
